30 Hours Funded Places Children already attending will be guaranteed a place if the families eligibility code continues to be verified by families information services. We will offer the 30 hours term time only but these will be limited to parents with other siblings already attending or with children with additional needs and limited up to two places per term.
We offer the 30 hours funded and fee paying places 52 weeks a year. Parents are able to pay for additional days and hours that are required. (The funded hours are between the hours of 9am-3pm)
Parents who require the 30 hour funded place for 52 weeks over the year an additional fee structure will be calculated on an individual basis based on the times per day required and the additional 14 weeks of the year. This is worked out with each individual family with a manager.
Parents can expect to pay a daily consumable and services charge if you are opting for the 30 hours funded place term time only.
If you are opting for the 30 hours all year round there will not be a consumable and services charge providing you are taking additional hours for three or more days within the week.
If you would like to only take additional hours for one or two days the daily consumable charge will apply.
If you wish to provide your own consumables this can be arranged apart from food and services. Thames Tiddlers do not have the storage of facilities for families to provide their own food. This is also too difficult with children’s allergies and dietary requirements.
If you wish to purchase your own consumables including, paints, paper, sketchbooks, clay etc these will need to be supplied and delivered before the child begins term. The consumables will need to be of good quality to ensure the richness and quality of teaching in accordance to our inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach. This can be discussed with one of the artists before attending.
The 30 hours is very new to the setting and we are looking at changing the way we offer some of our options from May 2018. We work very closely with each individual family to ensure we find the best possible option for you so please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any of the above options or an option you may like to access but is not listed above.
