Monster/Dinosaur Project
Date: 2013
One of our early projects with the children, as our journey began from the inspirations of the pre-school and infant toddler centres in Reggio Emilia.
This was one of our second projects. During this project we educators learnt a lot about the importance of setting up the materials and how this could inspire the work and ideas produced. The educators also learnt how to take a step back and realise trying to predetermine the outcome of the work did not work at all. All of this was a huge learning curve which shaped our future projects. The children learnt how to value and respect materials and resources and how by doing so the resources could be re-used and displayed for all to see.
