SEN, SEND and SENCO

Nikki Warren is the Early Years SENCO for Thames Tiddlers Nursery. Nikki works four days a week and has worked in childcare for nearly 20 years and within the SENCO role for 5years. Nicola works closely with the SEN (Special educational needs) team from our local authority.

Nikki works closely  with all educators to support all children, ensuring provision is adapted and relevant materials are available for children who are needing additional support.  Nikki works sensitively and in partnership with parents to ensure they are receiving the support they need for their child. We also employ a full time 1-1 support worker for those children who may need some additional support.

If you have any questions or would like some further information please contact the nursery directly and speak to either Nikki Warren or Rachel Robertson.

We also have a sensory space for the children to use with educators on a daily basis. We are currently raising money and applying for funding to create a larger sensory SEN room in the garden space.
